Acme is eight months into our new Wellness initiative and there is no doubt our employees are more fit and energetic than ever. Our “Biggest Loser” contest had everybody talking about healthy eating. We challenged and encouraged each other, shared recipes, and asked our vendors not to bring donuts. After 12 weeks our collective weight loss was 533 pounds! Introduced in October, 2012 to educate and encourage staff in their pursuit of good health, Acme now offers flu shots and annual health screenings. Enjoying events together and having fun has made the biggest impact, building team spirit and camaraderie. Something as simple as getting a group together for a brisk walk on a beautiful day has been fantastic for morale. Acme is forever healthier!
