LEAN ACTIVITY UPDATE

During the last few months ACME has focused a great deal of creative talent and energy towards driving Lean culture and a zero defect mentality throughout the organization.  Focused Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping events have taken place in multiple areas helping to identify and eliminate waste in processes such as New Job Startup, Contract Review, Tool Crib, Quick Changeover, and Defect Elimination just to name a few.

Recently a closed loop continuous improvement idea system has been implemented allowing waste at all levels of the organization to be identified and eliminated on a daily basis.

These activities have once again allowed ACME the opportunity to elevate performance in this challenging economic time.  The way has also paved for continued success through the creation of a truly Lean and zero defect culture at ACME.
