The old saying, “Races are won in the pits,” is not completely true. Races are also won under the hood as many NASCAR teams have found out this season. Several teams this year have chosen to use a transmission made by one of Acme’s customers. Those teams frequently find themselves finishing in the top ten and often end up celebrating in victory lane. To date, 108 top ten finishes and 10 victories, to be exact!
