Lean is not just a buzzword at Acme Industries – it is a way of life. In early 2006 we embarked on a mission to embrace a Lean Culture in our manufacturing plants and offices. We realized that providing cost-competitive, defect-free parts on time was no longer enough – we needed to do more. In order to meet the needs of our customers and stay competitive in the marketplace, Acme began utilizing lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Quick Change-Over, Overall Equipment Efficient, and Kaizen Events. Through the use of these tools we have dedicated ourselves to being a globally competitive precision machining company.
